- Grew up in WaKeeney, KS and attended
Trego Community High School
- attended Emporia State University and
graduated in 1971 with a K-12 degree in Physical Education.
- taught Pysical Education in Pratt to
both elementary schools for 30 years
- Masters in Conseling K-12 from Fort Hays
State University in 1997
- was Pratt's Master Teacher in 1998
- taught Jr. High P.E. and Health at
Liberty Middle School and counsled at Pratt High School for 4 years before
coming to Macksville
- Coached volleyball at Liberty for 3
years
- began job as counselor at
MHS in 2006.

J.C., have a 2 1/2 year old daughter, Jenessa, and a son Brock who is
about 6 months old.
